I did the same thing and it was awesome. My only issue was that the battery for the remote came dead, so I was a bit concerned that was not working, but I just put in a new battery and everything worked great. Hard to believe that such great sound comes out of this little box. ### ⭐ No Good *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2017* First one arrived, seemed to power on but Remote didn’t see to control the unit. Porchased a second unit and same thing. Attempted to contact their customer service which was no help. Wanted this one for its price and required the optical input however it wouldn’t work so returned them both and went with the Orb Audio unit instead which works great. ### ⭐ Should have gone by latest reviews. *by K***B on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2017* I should've known better. I wanted this to work. However it wouldn't even turn on. There's no way to turn on without the remote. I even tried my Apple TV remote and it didn't work either. Bummer. Returning tomorrow.
