Ridiculous just how much air this little fan moves!! Street bike coolant temps drop immediately
Added this to my 2004 CBR1000 as it would overheat in traffic. The '08 and up come with 2 fans from the factory, and i considered getting an OEM fan from an '08 for like $40, but I am so glad i decided to go with this one. My main concern was finding something that was 1) low amperage draw so i could wire it into the existing wiring instead of a requiring its own new relay, and 2) slim enough to sit on the radiator but be far enough from the headers to not melt from the heat. This fan hit both of those notes perfectly, and as a bonus, moves WAY more air that I could have possibly expected. It outdoes the significantly larger OEM fan, to the point where I am strongly leaning towards replacing the OEM fan with a second one of these. It's a tiny bit loud however barely noticeable next to the engine even at idle. 11/10 fan.
