I initially ordered the whole mirror assembly then realized I'd have to cut the light wires. Upon more careful inspection, saw that the plastic pieces that broke were on the flap itself. I struggled and tried to be gentle getting the flap installed onto the plastic "posts" in the original mirror assembly which required bending he flap a bit. After what felt like a long time, got it seated correctly and the light is activated when the flap is opened. I'm especially happy that I didn't lose the original function of the mirror AND I don't have to see the unsightly warning sticker/ label on the original.
