It’s a good balance of performance and affordability, and it’s been a great addition to my gear collection as I continue learning and growing in filmmaking! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, except for the flimsy shock mount *by R***N on July 10, 2020* I love this microphone. I am using it to great success with my iPad Pro Generation 3 to do videos for my professional Realtor website. (Note it does require a USB C to RCA connector, available on Amazon). It both works great, but has great heft, is made of quality materials, and is a perfect size. The microphone is so sensitive that when I use it for making a video or for being on ZOOM, I have to stop the pendulum on my antique mantle clock as the microphone very clearly picks up the "ticking". The one disappointing drawback is the extremely flimsy shock mount. I broke it the first day while attempting to attach it to the tripod stand that holds the iPad, I ended up having to rig some rubber bands to hold the microphone to the tripod while I look for a better made replacement mount. The mount is the ONLY issue that precludes me from providing an enthusiastic five star rating. The shock mount is therefore the weak link in an otherwise very strong chain. Provide a sturdy shock mount and I am confident your customers would be greatly appreciative, even if you have to raise the price a dollar or two to compensate for the added manufacturing or procurement expense of a better mount. Note: The "deadcat" windscreen is most appropriately named, as that is exactly what it resembles.
