Mahl stick is made of solid Oak wood with wooden ball at tip that is covered in felt with sturdy cord tie. Oak is oiled for protection. Hand made in the USA. The Mahl stick is an invaluable tool used by painters when doing fine detail art work and lettering. The use of a Mahl stick prevents smudging surrounding artwork while providing a brace for consistent steadiness and balance.
