These are pretty good.= Marmot Expedition Mitt+ Roomy, enuf for thin glove or very thick liner. Will be too roomy for those with thin hands, who will want one size smaller than usual.+ Rain/snow protection+ Reflective thumb spot– Not for weather much below -10°C.– Not for heavy dutyRecommendationIf you want light duty mitts to keep your hands warm during casual exercise just slightly below freezing, these will work.If you need something for colder weather, you will need Marmot 8000m mitts, or a full synthetic mitt suitable for mountain climbing.  Contact me for further details.

The Marmot mitts are warmer than I expected.  At -5 F my hands are almost sweating.  I never had that warmth before.

I bought these as a gift for my father in north west North Dakota. He constantly had cold hands in winter and was always complaining about it so I went online and tried to look up the warmest gloves I could find. Every review I read said these were as warm or warmer than gloves in the same price range on up to gloves several times more in price. I have a down winter sleeping bag from the same company for camping in winter here in Montana so I know this company knows how to make warm gear. I bought these based on the online reviews on various sites and my own experiences with this companies gear. My Dad has been ecstatic about them. They have become about his most favorite thing in the world and they go with him everywhere now in winter. He says even at -40 with the wind howling there in North Dakota his hands stay nice and warm. I am very pleased with these gloves and how they are working for him.
