Going forward I will buy the larger bottle of the santal. I use about 4 drops per cup of water. I prefer a heavier dose because I adore the scent. Be careful to only add the oil to your diffuser. I premixed water and oil in a plastic cup to refill my diffuser upstairs and the cup still smells like the essential oil. I can’t even explain it ..it’s heavenly and so calming. I also love the packaging, everything came so secure and protected, which I really appreciate. I followed another reviewer’s advice to clean my old diffuser with alcohol before using it, and I’m so glad I did! “The Hotel” scent is nice too, but for some reason it reminds me a bit of Love Spell from Victoria’s Secret which I never liked but I still didn’t mind The Hotel. But SANTAL? I’m actually falling in love with it. Just a heads up: it’s very strong, so if you’re using a water diffuser, start with only 1–2 drops.
