These are good but SO sugary. I eat pineapple all the time and it is of course very sweet but these look and taste like they are coated in granulated sugar. I’m sure they are not, and it is just the way the company processes it but very very very sugary in taste. Almost washes out the pineapple flavor. Definitely tastes like candy.

Nutritional label is misleading, ingredients say just pineapple chunks when there is clearly added sugar. Only lists total sugar and not added sugar. I try and avoid added sugar for health reasons and many other people do as well. Misleading information on a nutrition label can be dangerous and potentially deadly. If you have no known allergies or sensitivities to sugars then I would say that the size and texture is pretty good, I like bigger chewy chunks. Sweetness is obviously a little sweet because of added sugar but if you like it sweet then this is for you. It’s been a while since I bought it (dried food lasts a long time) so maybe they’ve changed their nutrition label by now, but other reviews don’t give me hope.

These dried pineapple chunks are incredibly delicious...addictive really... which, as other people have noted, is due to unlisted added sugar. For folks looking for no added sugar will be an unhealthy choice. The ingredients label of this product misleadingly reads "All natural pineapple chunks". However, these are definitely loaded with additional unknown sugar. The misleading nutritional information in the ingredients still has not been adjusted on the product label, but- after buying 4 of these bags because, well, sugar is addictive and you keep wanting more- I see that Amazon has now added "lightly sweetened" to the marketing label here, which was not present before. If you are someone who, like me, prefers to purchase items with NO added sugar, because sugar is addictive so it's harder to control portions and not over eat and cause a sugar crash, please know this may not the product for you. If you are not worried about your sugar intake and this is your sugar splurge and you're ok with the high sugar content... go for it. The taste is excellent, and it's pleasurably chewable. However... after finishing the bags I bought, I notice my sugar cravings have increased, so... be informed!!
