Amazon takes a 15% "referral fee" on items over $10 (8% on items $10 or less). 85% of $129 is $109.65, almost exactly what you would pay on their site. Even when the price was slightly higher, their margins are hardly different for Schiit than if you were to buy it on their website. It's not super high power, but it's plenty to drive them. Far more than the standard headphone port provides. Generally speaking, I don't usually find myself going over 50% on the volume control, and it's plenty loud. **Q: Will this be able to power 250 ohm headphones?** A: It's fine - I run 300 ohm Sennheiser HD 6xx's, and it powers them just fine. I mean, it's far less power than a proper headphone amp matched for those headphones would provide, but they certainly still get loud.
