I was replacing a similar style shade for my Audi S5. Hence, the folding technique was pretty easy to master. You may need to practice it a bit, but once mastered it's easy peasy. I find that, after the initial fold-over, by grasping at the 8 and 4 positions and applying the twist, is the easiest method. If you want to put it back in the original storage pouch, you have to be fairly precise in making the two sides the same size after the fold. I don't normally bother with that and just stick in a seat-back pocket. The chart recommended the medium size for my S5 and while it works fine, I do find it to be a bit large for my windshield. By tucking in the outer edges to the A pillars FIRST you will have an easier time managing the center section where you push it back behind the rear view mirror. Organizing the extra material is easier done in the center vs the outer edges. I've only had this a few weeks but the quality seems quite good and I found it to be a good value.

I measured my windshield and it matched closely with the small size for BMW x3 2008. Upon receipt it was as expected one inch too long both vertically and horizontally - but it held in place and seemed to fit semi-snugly with both visors helping keep it standing in place. I have departed the car for a while and can’t report it’s status long term and it’s cooling effect until I return back to this vehicle which I use part time. But for the price it seemed a remarkably good match. More later…

Fits the window very well and does help keep the vehicle cool.

The Autopect Car Windshield Sun Shade seemed like a great buy to keep my car cool and protect my dashboard, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit my 2014 Audi A6 as promised. It ended up being too large, which meant I had to send it back. While it seems like a decent sun shade overall, the sizing just wasn’t accurate for my car. Here’s why it missed the mark: Sizing issues: Although it claimed to fit my A6, the shade was simply too big for the windshield. It’s designed for larger vehicles, so if you’ve got a sedan, definitely double-check the measurements first. It’s a letdown when you think you’re getting the right size but end up with something oversized. 📏❌ Good quality overall: The material feels sturdy and durable, so I could see it doing a great job blocking heat if it actually fit. Compact storage is definitely a win. 🧳👍 Bottom line: While the Autopect Car Windshield Sun Shade seems like a good product overall, the size wasn’t as accurate as advertised for my 2014 Audi A6, so I had to return it. If you have a smaller or mid-sized sedan, make sure to measure your windshield carefully before buying this shade. It might be a great fit for larger vehicles, but it didn’t work for mine. 🌞🚙👎

This Sun Shade fits our windshield perfectly. We were concerned about it fitting because the truck is old but it said it would fit and it does. It is easy to install and covers completely. It is well worth the money. It stays in place well. I highly recommend this product!

Very useful to keep the sun out and keep the car cool

Truth is, this is not true, but they wrote it in the description "Durable Fade-Resistant reflective material is reinforced with high-strength ductile wire. This tension wire holds the windshield sunshade firmly in-place and endures countless foldings for storage.:" I don't even fold mine. I pull it out and lay in in half putting no pressure on the metal rings inside. I bought it in April of last year. My truck is 1990, gas drinking, and I never leave home. So it simply sits still in the window unless I go to church or an errand. I am disabled so I can't afford to travel much during the week. THat means I barely touch this thing, yet, in spite of all that, the metal is coming out of the sunshade. I bought it about 13 months ago. I am disappointed. I am also here to tell you the measurements are wrong. So I can't rate it well in protection for that reason, and a few more things. Since it won't make it all the way across the window, I get sun on my delicate classic truck's dash on one side or the other. The rings do maintain it staying in the window, but the corners are loose and floppy and unless you tuck them into the bottom corners and try to make them float in the top, the sun gets in. If I used it daily, folding it up and cramming it into the cheap bag it comes with I may expect to wear it out in a year. That is not the case. Just fair warning, you get what you pay for.

Buen producto

Purchased one for my Son's Vehicle and one for my Truck. I have had it for a month now. Works great, keeps the vehicles cooler and also, you can't see inside if one is looking inside you vehicle. It's easy to use and takes a bit of finessing to get it back to the small version when you fit it in the storage bag. I just fold it once and place it in the back seat. This way it also hides any bags/groceries or boxes I have in the back seat at that time, if needed. It seems to be made well and it's replacing my OLD "folding style" sun shade I had previously, that one started to peal and flimsy. So, I recommend it, check twice to see if it fits YOUR vehicle and enjoy a much cooler vehicle during the Summer. It does work and it keeps your interior newer with less Sun damage, fade and cracking. I would purchase it again.
