Turned out great. I greased and floured the pans which resulted in no sticking. Heated the frosting a little to thin it, easier as a glaze. Even when I did manage to get the cakelet out of the pan without ripping off the top tier, the intricate decorations were completely covered if you add any frosting. I piped frosting on because to use a spatula just made the cake come apart. If you use frosting the cake just looks like a mound of frosting - unappetizing, really.Most importantly, grease and flour the pan, and put a 1" circle of parchment paper on the bottom before scooping in the cake batter. It'll release much easier that way.
