Will this board float?

The medical board is pretty thin.Not intended to be used at the pool, beach, or lake.

How long and wide is the board

71 1/2 inches by 22 wide. Works very well for sliding the patient from one flat surface to another. Just please remember that this is not a device for lifting. The cut-outs are made for holding on when you slide the patient. There are other devices for lifting the patient from one place to another.

Does this slider board(patient transfer board) have a weight limit?

I think it’s 500 pounds. We use it a lot on the larger population and it’s always worked great

What is this board made of. Fabric or plastic? I am looking for a hard base to put on the bed for exercise resistance as the mattress is too hard.

It’s a hard plastic. I’m not sure it will work so well for exercising... u might be sliding on it a lot as it is a transfer board
