This is a great battery at a great price. I bought this as a last resort before having to purchase a new Dyson hoover. It works fantastically well and now I don't need to buy a new hoover. Easy to fit, ( even an idiot like me could do it) and lasts longer than the original battery.

So far so good only been on a couple of days loads more life and power and a great service from Amazon Thx P

The battery is a god replacement for the original but there are problems with it that should be over come. When you place the vacuum into the charger, you have to ensure that the plug makes contact with the battery, it has a tendency to push the plug out of the hole it resides in. When you have the floor attachment connected, the motor seems to hunt wildly for reasons I can't fathom. When using a hand held attachment, that problem does not manifest. I wonder if the floor attachment with its extra power draw is tipping the battery over the edge. The charging indicator does not, indicate, so one only has the knowledge that it has been properly plugged in to know that charing is taking place. Apart from that, it works and elongated the life of the Dyson. And at a fraction of the cost of a Dyson replacement - which we are not going to do since Dyson campaigned for Brexit, then moved to Singapore.

Still working fine now, far far cheaper than a Dyson equivalent replacement battery which is probably more than the value of the DC 34, therefore this is probably your only viable option to keep a DC 34 goin. caveat though … don’t run the dc34 on high power mode until the dc34 shuts off due to low battery as it refused to charge for a bit, but the battery recovered enough to recognised for recharge, and I never run it on high power to fully drain the battery, as I think the DC 34 may have trouble recognising the battery to charge after that, best never to really discharge a lithium to fully empty, as a lot of battery controllers loose sight of the battery at this point, and can presume the battery to be beyond recovery/chargeable.

I used this battery to refurb my old Dyson DC56. (The one that has wet floor wipe attachment) It isn’t listed in the compatible models, probably because it’s so old but It fits perfectly. The only difference between the new battery and the original is that the capacity of the new one is much bigger. Suction is great! (Make sure you replace filter and clean thoroughly) The price was excellent and it even gave me 8% extra discount plus prime next day delivery! The only thing I’d suggest is that you keep the 2 screws that you take out to remove the old battery. Some adverts for batteries specify that they give you new screws but this one doesn’t. You’ll need them to attach the new battery. It’s very easy to fit - following YouTube instructions. Charge time I haven’t timed but it’ll obviously take longer because the capacity of the battery is greater than the original. But this will mean the run time is longer too :)

It is held in by two screws, a small Philips screw accessed behind the air filter and a much longer Philips screw in a recess above the charger socket. It’s this second screw that can prove troublesome.After unscrewing it, it wouldn’t come out and remained stuck in the recess. No amount of fiddling with bits of wire trying to hook under it would work. With the screw still in place the old battery will not come out. The eventual fix was to apply a dab of super glue to the screwdriver bit, and hold it against the screw until it set, then pull the screw out using the bit. Use pliers to detach the screw afterwards. Battery drops ou. Insert the new one and reassemble. Job Done! Works a treat.

Battery was a suitable fit and form for original Dyson Battery (OEM no longer available). Its function appeared on a par with the original and breathed new life into our Dyson. Sadly, not for long! 6-months later, after a full overnight charge the battery only lasts 3-4 minutes on the LOW power setting before dying and needing further charging. Original battery lasted >10 years. The battery does not appear to have a fault so assume sub-standard materials and therefore a false economy. Unable to contact the company, based in HK hence poor review.

I brought this revive our 10 year old Dyson DC44 Animal. Easy to fit and and holds charge well. It fact it was an upgrade. Has given our 10 year old Dyson a new lease of life.

Modello un po' datato che negli ultimi tempi usavo poco perché... durava poco! Poi ad un certo punto si è 'spento' del tutto. Pensavo di buttare via, ma poi per curiosità ho cercato una batteria compatibile, presa e... meno male! Come nuovo ( ma pulisco e lavo bene sempre i filtri).. purtroppo non ho più la scusa per prendere un modello nuovo..

Über Langzeit erfahren kann ich noch nicht sagen, aber bis jetzt funktioniert der Akku und die Elektronik wunderbar!

Conforme à mes attentes, mon dyson est reparti pour 10 ans.
