Fire & Flavor Mesquite Wood Chips

I use these with my Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. They go quickly when used in the cold smoker but that’s a common complaint with the smoker, not the chips.

Soaked the mesquite chips in water, drained them, and placed them in a layer on the water pan. Man, that whole chicken came out so good. Next whole ham but...!

The chips are very small. This is good and bad. Bigger chips last longer once they start smoking. Smaller chips smoke quicker, so if you have an electric smoker...this is good. Less time on the pre heat. I've bought other popular brands of wood chips-and I'd buy these over the other brands. Was very impressed at the full flavor Mesquite smell and meat infusion.

Added a great smoke to my small smoker

fairly easily produces smoke with mesquite flavor, but need to start this much earlier and give it some time before adding food to grill... that's just the way it is with wood chips.
