In the period that I've had about 6 UTIs in 4 months (I know, it's crazy, I felt like dying then and I'm glad I'm past that), I used bulk supplements to take down the symptoms to a level 0. My pain was definitely nearing a 7 due to the clenching, burning, aching, and shard-like feeling of the UTI- however, this product mitigated the symptoms when severe. I took a spoonful every hour and it relieved the symptoms until I felt normal again. However, this product cannot completely get rid of the infection, and is therefore a useful product for relieving symptoms but not for curing and getting rid of the bacteria. If you think you have a UTI take this to stop feeling like death but go to the doctor so you don't destroy your kidneys and urethra and your bladder. (And don't take medical advice from strangers on the internet either) It is also an excellent preventative measure. When engaging in activities that may encourage a UTI, taking D-Mannose beforehand is a very effective way to prevent the symptoms from happening. In my situation, I took multiple doses (if possible) afterwards to feel comfortable about my urethra. When I took it consistently after these activities, I rarely got a UTI. Lastly, the taste is excellent. Eating D Mannose is fun. It's very sugary in an "off" way, but it is not unpleasant. It has the consistency of stevia and is half the sweetness of stevia.
