Although I have been purchasing and cooking with saffron for years, I never knew these details. It's wonderful to become educated and also receive a high quality product.When opening the jar, I was immediately struck by the divine aroma of the saffron. It was fragrant and smelled undoubtedly fresh. The color of the saffron is also a vibrant red which supports that this is a high quality product.I used the saffron this past Friday night and made some rice for some friends who came over.
