I usually wear a 10, but that size was not available, so I took my chances with a 9.5 medium and the fit was fine. I won't be able to wear a heavy pair of socks with them, but a mid weight will still work. I had so many compliments the first time I wore them. Very sexy and very comfortable. Easy walking heel but also high enough to provide some pizzas. I like the rough leather finish and I know this will become one of my go-to pair of boots. They fit very nicely, and are very comfortable. I am usually between a size 7-7.5, but with boots I always go half a size up for thick socks so I ordered 8. I'm 5'4 and have big calves (14.75" around the biggest part) and these fit just right, there is enough room for jeans and socks without being too tight. The shoes hit right below the knee for me and the litle details on the side look great, they are very comfortable to walk around in and seem pretty warm. The leather is very thick. The zipper is sturdy. I have no doubt they will last a very long time. I wear a size 7. I ordered a size 7 and they are a little snug in the foot.
