Trying to see if it will fit in my fridge** A: It's taller than a 5 gal. bucket, says it's 15.75 in. tall. Not sure how tall a bucket is, but I do know that the Briner is taller. **Q: Would you use this like a crock for making saur kraut?** A: Yes. The Briner has been used to make sauerkraut **Q: Do you have to use bag liners with this?** A: You do not its food grade. However when I brine my turkey I often use a bag simply because clean up and moving the bird around is way easier with it. **Q: Will this be large enough to fit a whole packer brisket?** A: It should be. We are able to get a fairly large turkey (22lbs) into it.
