Works just exactly as it should and SO much better than just distilled water. When I bought this, the Xikar was a clam or 2 cheaper than all the other brands, though chemically they are all (supposed to be) exactly the same, so (theoretically) one brand shouldn't work any better than any other. It's really hard to mess up mixing 50% Propylene Glycol with 50% Distilled Water. But I guess it could be done. If someone tried really hard. This product at least, is what it is and does what it's supposed to. Which is keep my humi sponge & humi beads the right kind of wet, and recharge my Boveda Packs when needed (yes, they CAN be recharged. If you heard they were disposable....your source was infinitely wrong...and probably wears skinny jeans *shudder*). Works great, may buy it again when this bottle runs out. Or more likely I will probably just mix my own, because it's just not that hard to do. And desertcart sells all the parts you need, including a funnel. And towels. For cleaning up when you get distracted while pouring. So yea, don't try mixing 2 liquids together while marathoning Caprica. It's not going to end well. Neither your mixture or Caprica.
