I purchased a month or so ago this bike light combo and I could not be happier. Accidentally, I purchased two of them and intended to send one back. However, since I like it so much I will keep them both. The headlight is small, yet powerful, and seems to last many hours (I commute to work about 1 hr daily, and charge lights during the weekend, never had a problem). The front light has three intensity settings and one blinking mode, which uses the highest intensity of the light and seems to be visible several blocks ahead (based on the street signs reflecting back). The rear light is small, light and versatile and also works many hours. I use often the Blitzu rear light at night and is very visible, no problems. For daylight rear lighting, however, I use either a Cateye X2 (or X3) or a Cygolite Hotshot 100 which are stronger and thus more visible. Both Blitzu lights are USB rechargeable, which is a big plus. Both lights are easy to put on and take off the bike, there are elastic bands used for installation. I even purchased extra rubber bands to have some spares, in case I need. I highly recommend them Also, some quick extra info on my experience with the various bike lights I own, including Blitzu, INTEY, Cygolite and Cateye. I have several bikes and several headlights (and taillights) I did a few day and night tests, to check how visible my bike lights are from a moving car. One important observation: there is no need, in my opinion, of a bike light brighter than 1000-1200 lumens. On high, such a light can bother the oncoming traffic. To give you an example: in the past, while I was using more regularly an older 1000 lumen flashlight in strobe mode on the bike, there were on several occasions cars bringing to my attention that my light was bothering them. Currently, I like using an INTEY 1000 light, on pulse mode (not flashing/strobe), which I find perfect for night riding (not blinding yet very visible) and works during the day also, if you want to. However, for daylighting I prefer stronger pulse-lights. To do this, I have three options: either use the INTEY in strobe-mode, which is VERY bright. Or, I also have a Cygolite Metro Pro 1100 and a Cygolite Dash 600. Both of them are very good for daylighting when using the main LED. My Cateye Volt 1200 in flashing mode is also great for daylight. However, at night, all these stronger lights I think will bother the traffic too much. Therefore, I prefer to combine the INTEY steady/pulse light with flashing from a second bike headlight. For this, I either use the flashing 4 LEDs of the Dash 600 or I use the flashing mode of this BLITZU Gator 390 light. This combination works very well for me. Both of these flashing lights attract attention, yet are not blinding. I think a combination of TWO Blitzu headlights, on set on constant and the other flashing would do the same job. Certainly, when I ride in heavy traffic (particularly during daytime), I prefer the more rapid flashing mode of stronger lights, such as the Volt 1200, or Metro Pro 1100 or the strobe mode of the INTEY 1000. They are all VERY visible and keep me safe.

Works as advertised. Super easy to take on and off. Left it out in the rain a few times and still works. **update** I bought this in Oct. it is now almost Feb. in the time I've had it, I used it to bike to and from work, as well as around the city as my only source of transportation. As far as the battery life, I can say that I charged it once after a month of use... but only because I wasn't sure if it needed charged or not... then just recently, mid Jan. It started blinking at me and telling me it was going to die. I used it for a few hours each day for the next three days as it told me it needed charged until the light started to dim and I decided to put it on the charger. Also, the front light goes out faster than the rear, so I don't know if the rear light needed charged since I don't see it while I ride... but I did anyway. Next, the light itself. If you put the light on flash mode, believe me, everyone from a five block radius will know that you're approaching... because even with the light faced down so you don't blind oncoming pedestrians, every sign will reflect the flash, and people will never fail to notice. Lastly, is durability. So far, I've gone through two cellphone holders in the time I've had this, because i'm very abusive with my bike taking it in and out of a car, or throwing it on the ground, or whatever else... this light doesn't care. you can (although I don't advise) smack it with a hammer, and it simply moves out of the way... better yet, it moves back to where you focused it in the first place, but at the same time, if you want to adjust the focus, it's as simple as touching it slightly a to adjust where it's facing. which is due to the rubber mount, that makes it SO EASY to take on and off, it only takes a split second, yet makes it incredibly sturdy on the bike as well. I would buy this again, not that I think I'd need a second one. I always keep my light on the dimmest setting and it's well more than efficient.

UPDATE: Over a year after I purchased my last one of these. I now own five. Two bikes with a set of two and another that uses one singly. These lights rally are a killer deal. Even with near-daily use, the batteries on both the fronts and the rears are still going strong. I *did* have one of the mounts break, which was a bummer, but I found that Blitzu sells - here on Amazon - a "New improved mounting bracket strap for Gator 390" that runs about ten bucks. Its a shame it costs half what the other two lights do, but that says more about how under-priced these lights are rather than how expensive that genuinely improved strap is. Also since That Other Leading Brand also charges extra for their 'proper' mount its not like Blitzu is doing anything different than the market leader. For my commuting and daytime running light needs, these are just unbeatable. I do strongly recommend you use two of them and either spasce them widely apart on your bars or adjust the (adjustable!) mount with your screwdriver to separate the two beams. --------------------- I bought a set of these because I did not want to spring for that Other Leading Brand's small portable 'lumina' line. Those other lights are great, but I buy headlights in pairs and I have a lot of bikes. I cried 'uncle' on the price and gave these a try. They are not as good as the other lights are for the night rider but they are certainly good enough for me to continue using them, and in fact buy another set for another bike. For the headlights: - Smaller than you'd think, about the size of a king size pack of gum. - Plenty bright but not as uber bright as more expensive competitors. Good enough for street illumination. - Water resistant, but not as much as more expensive competitors. The rubber cover that protects the USB plugin does not want to stay snug. - Mount is fairly solid, but will shift as you remove and replace the lights, which is every time you charge them. But its not anywhere near as bad as it could be (some competitors are awful in this regard). - Battery life is great. I keep two on the lowest setting and usually only recharge once a week. For the taillights: - Nicely visible. Not as good as some competitors that advertise 120Lm. - Somewhat shorter battery life than I am used to, although I usually get close to a week of continuous use out of them. - For a daily commuter who needs daybright lights, a couple of these in back are a pretty decent choice. The negatives above are entirely expected for a product that costs a small fraction of the higher performing competitors. If you are on a budget and want solid performance you'll get it with these.

If you've been shopping for daytime running lights for your bike, you know that the more well-known brands typically charge about 3x - 5x this price just for the front light. So if you're anything like me, you're probably a little skeptical about the quality at this price. The short review is that you need to set that aside and buy this before they come to their senses and raise the price. They're rugged, bright, well-built, and have excellent battery length. Mounting is a piece of cake, with one minor exception. The rubber straps wrap securely around any part of your bike's frame (such as the handlebar or seat stem) and do not move around at all until you release them. Once you hook the strap into the light, it's not going anywhere. No amount of vibration or jostling has caused the lights to slip out of position. My only minor beef is that it's difficult to strap the tail light to a frame pack or backpack. Once you strap it in place, it slides around and quickly rotates out of position. My light would immediately wind up in a down-facing position under my under-seat pack. This isn't a problem if you strap the light to your seat stem AND you don't have a pack obscuring the light -- definitely something to check out before you buy. Fortunately, this isn't a problem for me on my Trek Verve 2, but it's something to be aware of. The front headlight is clearly visible during the day, and the flashing mode makes you pop out to oncoming traffic. At night it throws off ample light. The rear light could be a little brighter, but again, it's easily visible during the day. Both lights have three levels of intensity. The front light has a single blinking mode (at maximum intensity), and the rear light has three additional blinking modes (slow / low, slow / medium, and fast / high intensity). Recharging is easy using the two included USB charging cables (you supply your own charger). The charging port is micro USB-B, which means it's compatible with the vast majority of smartphone cables out there. The rear light's charging indicator goes out when charging is complete, but the front light is more difficult to read. There doesn't appear to be any indication that charging is done; the indicator LED stays on no matter how long it's plugged in. It's possible that it changes from red to green when finished, but being color blind means I can't see any difference. In either case, I've just been letting these charge overnight and they've so far outlasted all of my rides (typically about an hour). Normally I'd knock a star off for these minor inconveniences. But these far exceed the quality I'd expect for the price, and I'm so happy with the results that I bought a second pair for my wife's bike. You simply can't go wrong with these at this price. UPDATE 1: I've been using these for a few months now and there have been no reliability issues whatsoever. I can only add one minor concern: due to the way the mount is built, you can't pivot the light at all. This means that if you mount it off-center on your handlebars (as nearly everyone does), or if your handlebars bend away from the center fork just a tiny bit, your light is going to shine off-center. There's no adjustment to be made here; it is what it is. Since 98% of my riding is during the day, and since these are so cheap, I can't bring myself to dock a star for this. UPDATE 2: After two years of heavy use, the tail light finally gave out. The button stopped working and it wouldn't turn off. After the battery ran down, that means it wouldn't turn back on. I replaced it with another model, but I'm still very satisfied with the performance and longevity for the price. If you're looking for cheap lights, you can't beat this pack.

I have 2 of these now and I'm buying a third. The front light has 2 intensity modes and several function modes for steady on and flashing. It is very bright On high and can light up street signs. In cold conditions it will last about two and a half hours on fast flash high intensity mode. Warmer temps extends that by an hour. Recharge time is 2 to 3 hours. Solid build, easy to install an remove an excellent choice at a value price. The instructions say to remove for charging by releasing the mounting bracket lock but I find it easier to remove be the stretchy mounting band. One criticism is the waterproof charge port cover. It has a delicate attachment to the body and if it unhook is impossible to reconnect. I've used a small strip of waterproof gorilla Tap to cover the exposed port.

I have been using this for a week now. I ride 16 miles a day on a stretch of A1A in Central Florida. This stretch usually isn't very busy in the morning but like morning drivers everywhere many aren't paying attention as much as they should for the same, "not very busy" reason. Once I added this light I have so many fewer drivers coming close. I use both the front and tail light on blinking mode. As you can see from the box they came it they are well packaged and nicely organized. Two lights, two clamps, two charging cables and a set of instructions. installed the front on the handlebars between the post and the aero bars (Trek Equinox 5) and the twilight on the seat post. I love that they are easily removable for charging or other uses. The front light is very bright and will make for a great flashlight in a pinch. I charged them for a very short time when I received them as they were mostly charged already and so far haven't needed to recharge them. I will stick them in the charger tomorrow simply because I don't want them to suddenly go out without me noticing. My only disappointment is my own fault as when I ordered I was positive the order page showed a choice of colors including blue and that I chose that but it's just as possible that I didn't and the color wouldn't make more than an iota of difference. This is a great product at a great price and they're rechargeable! UPDATE: I ride an average of 100 miles per week and about an hour on each ride. When I have the front light on flashing I get three days out of it before the battery indicator comes one ( a blue light) and I have consistently gotten 4 days when I have it on steady on the lowest setting. The rear light seems to last longer but I charge it the same time I charge the front light. I definitely feel much safer now especially with the snowbirds returning but being safe while riding on the road is always relative. I am still thoroughly happy with this light combo!

I really Like this light, Sure there are better Lights on the Market But this one really does a decent job. I've been riding with this combo at night and haven't run out of battery yet. The Tail light is surprisingly bright.. You should no doubt be visible from far away. *Note about tail light* to shut off.. Hold the button and it will shut off.. otherwise it continually cycles through modes.. The headlight shuts off after you cycle passed the blinking mode. I have not tested its waterproof abilities as of yet.. But It seems sealed enough to handle rain. The light gives "good enough" visibility while riding on roads and paved trails.. For $20 Bucks, This really is worth it. If you are a Mountain Biker who wants a light for Serious winding woodsy trails.. I would opt for something more expensive and brighter. Even if and When I decide to upgrade lights this will be an awesome back up and weighs almost nothing so even bringing it with inside a mounted bag would be simple. So.. If You just bought a bike or looking for your first light to ride around town or put on your kid's bike.. This Light will do the trick.. I Gave this product 5 stars because It's Value per dollar.. I would buy again and would def recommend to a friend. *Year and a Half Review* Product still works It's been through a lot with me.. even being hit by a car.. rain.. mudd.. etc.. Still works as new. The Taillight that came with it worked quite well.. but.. I lost it last week.. no fault to the product itself. I bought a taillight from same manufacturer the Blitzu Cyborg. It is notably brighter and better but I still miss the other taillight.. it worked well. The headlight itself is not good for trail riding.. and if you are not a night rider often but want to stay legal and be able to see a bit.. For it's price.. it is def adequate which is why it maintains it's 5 star review. I have since added a brighter light seen as the left beam in my photo. But the Blitzu Gator still does it's job.

I mounted this to my helmet and I use this as a second light to supplement my handlebar mounted light. This light is perfect for early morning rides before surnise where I'm tackling an hour long uphill portion or rolling flats of a mountain bike trail and by the time I get to the top, the sun has come up and I no longer need a light for the decent. It weighs so little it is perfect for my helmet and it has a low profile so it is less likely to snag on trees. For helmet mount just unscrew the clip from the handlebar mount, and use VHB tape to mount the clip on the top of the helpmet. I tested runtime while on high and I noticed the low battery indication came on after 1 hr 40 mins, which is enough time for me to get to the top of a hill before sunrise. Cons are: The brightness is in the range of 300 but 390 may be stretching it, but it is good for slower speed uphill climbing, and not really recommended for blazing fast downhill. For downhill I would use my trusty Light&Motion light, but it is kind of heavy for slow speed uphill climbs.. It is a white chalky >6500K light which washes out the colors on the trail, but good enough for what I need. I recommend it for the great value and the use that I have for it, but if you need something for racing, long runtime, higher brightness for downhill I would feel more comfortable with a more well known brand. I attached 3 cell phone photos with this light only mounted on my helmet on low, med, high settings, and a final photo where both the helmet and handlebar light are on at the same time at high settings. Added 2 more to show the helmet mount.

It has 390 lumen but LUX (area lighted) is lower than other brands (ELOP) which have better LUX despite having 300 lumens.

This bicycle fron and tail light kit is wonderful! It has a good battery life in a single charging cycle. I've been out in the ice cold winterly weather and they works brilliantly! The front light: has the ability of vary in strength by the push of the button, so I can choose from how the light conditions of the road is, and also means that power capacity is saved to those pinch black places. The light also makes reflective details nice and visible. Backlight: easily seen from way long distances away , in all kinds of whether conditions. I love this kit. It's waterproof too, so they takes snow and rain hassle free. I love them, and to it's price unbeaten till now!! It's mounting base is installed just in a matter of a few minutes. They hold them perfectly in place, and is adjustable. That means I can make them do their job properly at any time. What more to ask for? I'm thrilled!

Very good lights. No problem in heavy rain and they don’t seem at all likely to fall off. I’ve used them a lot and they’re perfect for night time cycling. They have different brightness options and they both flash if you want them to. Battery life is possibly quite good. I cycle about 45 minutes a day three times a week with them and then charge them up, but I am sure they can last a lot longer than that.

So far very good no probs, nice and bright.

I'l tell you something, for the price of thi, it does the job and more. These are as bright as needed to be and give a safe clear beam on the front and rear. I received on Friday and used on the Saturday and my friends said that it looked great from behind, I think they were talking about the light, lol, and could be seen really clearly. Don't be put off by the price, this is a great piece of kit, and don't worry about the USB chargers, everyone has additional one better than they provide to charge these up.
