Great little Power Supply with Wonderful Voltage & Current Selection knobs
I need a second low-voltage supply at our ranch for use in bench testing electronics at typical electronics supply voltages levels, sort of 1.5 volts to 18 volts. In particular I wanted to use it to test a rain gauge with LCD display designed to work off of two AA batteries...sort of 3.5 volts down to 2 volts. I wanted to measure the discharge current drawn by the rain-gauge electronics as a function of voltage as the battery discharged, and describe the LCD display brightness and contrast as a function of voltage level. With my other low-voltage bench supply, dialing in a particular voltage in a real hit or miss operation. The course knob always overshoots, then I find that my desired reading is out of range of the fine knob...so I go back and forth several times to get the reading I'm after. The unit was a dream. You just set the knob to control the digit you want to control and it just steps precisely for each click of the knob. In my case I wanted to test in 0.1 volt increments starting at 3.5 volts and dialing slowly down to 2.0 volts. I just set the voltage at 3.5 volts and the knob for 0.1 volt increments. Each click dropped the voltage exactly 0.1000 volts. Infinitely better that my other power supply. The second thing I like about this supply is the second on-off switch on the output...separate from the power on-off for the unit. Another. 50-year-old very-low voltage supply I have has this feature and I use it all the time. With this feature one can set the voltage and current level while the test unit is plugged in and also turn the test voltages on and off without going thru the transients of turning on-off the power supply. Very helpful. I checked the voltages and current w.r.t. my digital multi meter and the agreement was good. However, don't expect it to accurately measure currents of just a few milliamps. For that I used my digital multimeter. Highly recommended!

Got to be one of the best rectifiers
I built my own jewelry plating machine and chose this rectifier because it was in the voltage and amperage range. Plus it’s one of the most aesthetically appealing rectifiers out there. I have clients come into my studio so I built my own jewelry plating machine, but it looks more like a piece of furniture than a tool. I also wanted to rectifier that kind of had a nice aesthetic appeal. This rectifier works amazingly I highly recommend it. It’s so easy to use. I did buy an extra set of leads with banana plugs on them with a little higher gauge wire, but it’s really nice having the output switch right there cause I can turn the output off immediately after I’m done plating a piece of jewelry absolutely fantastic machine would recommend it to everybody. The price is great. You’ll love it.

Easy to read, easy to adjust
Very nice power supply. I bought 2 of them over 2 years ago for my home lab. Still working well. I don't use the USB charger or programmable features. I do use the 3 memory buttons on the front panel. Very convenient setting my frequently used voltages. The metal casing is like added bonus. The voltage reading seems accurate. The current is not accurate when at low values which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I had an ammeter set-up and measuring 9.3mA but the power supply display shows 4mA. Would be nice if it was more accurate. Overall, happy with the product. Didn't see any electrical noise issues and very reliable. Using for over 2 years and still working well.

Excellent Bench Power Supply.
Works great. Arrived fast and in great condition too. Great for powering circuits, pcb boards, devices, etc. Adjustability excellent. Ease of use and noise level is very quiet.

I LOVE this PSU!!!
My first PSU arrived not working properly (JESVERTY branded). This NANKADF 5A PSU was it's replacement. I'm new to these bench PSUs, and already appreciate the awesomeness of this unit! The front facing power switch, as well as output button is a MUST. I avoided this push button style for the first PSU, and HATED the course and fine 2 knob system for voltage as well as current. This single button design for each is very simple, responsive, and the next higher value digit rolls over when rolling up past 9 or down past 0, making it VERY intuitive. The 3 memory settings are another MUST have if ever working with more than 1 standard voltage. Mine are set for 3.3, 4,2 and 5.1v. Awesome that the current limit gets stored with the voltage. No idea about fan noise because it hasn't come on yet after hours of use. The manual states it only comes on when needed, so I'm grateful I didn't choose a unit that the fan is on full time (from reviews of other units, it sounds annoying). The manual is worth reading, and describes the functions and use much better than the one I returned. The only tick against this unit is it came with the AC switch on the back set for 230V, rather than 115V for the country of purchase. Reading the manual first, it emphasized checking this before first use to prevent PSU damage. So another thumbs up for well written manual. I strongly recommend this PSU to others starting out as I am. But boost the bucks for the 10A version, because this is such a good (and pleasure to use) unit, it would be a shame to outgrow it's current limit without needing additional functions.

Doesn't Work
Received one, no output, even with output button turned on, sent in and had replaced, second one only showed about .75 Volts for a second when the output button was enabled then died, no output on either unit. Sending it back. If it can't show voltage on a static measurement, then it can't be on a workbench. Good techs always perform a static check of the power supply before connecting it to a piece of equipment under load. This way the tech knows the output truly correlates with the display. Also, the display urns on upside down when first powered up, first hint to me there is a problem with these units. Love the form factor, color and shape of the unit, but two in a row are bad, not worth the money to ship another one. (update 08JAN22) Thought I might be missing something, so I decided to pull it out of the box before shipping it back. Silly me for thinking this supply was a positive and negative supply, after all it has three terminals right? Turns out the voltage does appear, but only between the black and the red, the green does nothing and is not a chassis ground after all. So this is a single-ended supply. Not at all as advertised. So, I guess I'll take it to work and put it on my bench there instead for a quick, easy single-ended supply. It is current limited after all, which my old hand-built one from 30 years ago is not. So, it will do for another little bench supply, but since it's not split positive and negative, I am sorely disappointed for the price. Guess I should've known better that at this price I wasn't going to get much. I had really thought for the price, you would get a lot more power supply these days. I spent the same amount to build my old one back in the 90's, but at least, I know it will deliver a single-ended supply from 0 to 30 Volts at 3 Amps. This new one, I won't know until I use it for awhile. But, I know this, I would never recommend it because of how duped I feel about the purchase now.

Best Deal on This Caliber of Unit
The Nankadf programable power supply is the best option I could find within its price range. The unit was packaged adequately and delivered within two days. The digital readout is perfect size-wise and is decently bright. The overall size of the unit is ideal for my situation. Customizing individual numerical valves of both voltage and current is this unit's most robust feature. You can’t do this with other units in this price range. Plus, you can integrate with USB, and the lead else works great. Out of the multitude of units I reviewed in detail, the NANKADF power supplies stood out in both features and quality. I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed, much like I wasn’t.

Smaller than expected
Loved it so far. It has Constant current and Constant Voltage options. Also shuts of when it detects a short circuit. Much smaller than expected so It is not really a problem to keep on the desk all the time. Lightweight, silent and good looking. Don't really have any bad experiences to share. Just be reasonable, do not expect it to replace a 200$ plus pro power supply and you will be pleased with this little fella.
