The cover is genuine water-Cowhide, stained with a non-toxic 'Emerald Green' dye. The leather is of a heavy quality, and is thick but supple. The cover is lined with black cloth and the edge is laced with goatskin thong. There is an inner flap to protect the edge of the pages, and a Threaded Cover Tie to keep the journal shut. Size: Cover 175 x 230 mm Contains 100 leaves/200 usable sides of acid-free unlined cartridge paper. Quality: - Paper is genuine cartridge paper. It is suitable for drawing and sketching, and for writing with pencil, Biro, and gel. The paper is bound in individually stitched folios in a traditional 'Italian stitch', which is exceptionally durable. You can carry this journal with you in your hands or handbag without fear of its getting damaged.
