Review: This stuff is amazing for retro game cleaning and repair! - i saw some one on youtube use this to clean their game cart and also put some in a pot for a 2600 paddle. so i got some and boy does it work well! especially for cleaning the contacts on a virual boy for the displays after solder fixing them. i also tried it out in the volume knob and and its as smooth as silk after applying when turning it and the sound is no longer crackly. it works way better than wd-40! all though the price is high i will be using this sparingly. one thing i really like it the fact that it absorbs in to tiny cracks making it easier to oil a pot. Take apart or just squirt in front?** A: Use f100s and spray it in openings in the pot body while rotating the knob back and forth several times, then test for noise. Repeat the process for persistently noisy pots. You can clean the pot first with good electronic contact cleaner spray before using f100s, worked in most cases. **Q: Is it quick drying?** A: I haven't checked how long it takes to dry up (and if it ever does), but since it is oil based and is not a dry lubricant, you would have an oil film after the initial de-oxidation step which occurs immediately as you apply it. Your best recourse is to wipe the surface clean after the oxidation removal step is over and the sizzling stops. **Q: Will this work on corroded 35 pin junction connector?** A: If it is so pitted the metal is missing , i doubt it , however , it's worth a shot .
