Use them and you'll have lighted power **Q: Is a dpad counted as a joystick, or would it utilize 4 of the 12 buttons?** A: All of these answers are completely wrong. A 5 pin joystick still uses 5 pins, 4 input 1 ground. A dpad would be the same.
