Easily can hold a 15 inch laptop, maybe even 17 inch. Two pockets for extras also in the inside, they are smaller pockets. One zippered pocket, great for cash or credit cards or a small wallet (not checkbook size).Shoulder strap is not adjustable so if you have a short or a tall frame, you will not be able to adjust this. For me it works perfectly and sits against just below my hip. I am 5'0" tall.No zippers or closures on the outside pockets so if you are a person who likes to use outside pockets that zip, this does not have them.Pros:Leather and brass embellishments.Beautiful color, very durable, luxurious, material.Simple design with neutral tones, making it great for men or women.Cons:The bag is somewhat heavy, even empty.There seems to be som sort of foam between the material to possibly give the bag more structure, but the bag tends to be floppy nevertheless. If you like bags that hold their structure and stand more upright, this ones does not do so well despite the thick material. It should not be labeled as a briefcase.The zippers stick. The leather is great, the canvas and stitching are of good quality, it holds A LOT, the walls are padded some and the deep, outside pockets increase it's utility. The handles are stitched on really well, and make it so I have no qualms about packing this bag to the brim. The way the top flaps over and snaps, helps keep contents even safer. I plan to Scotchgard the whole bag to help waterproof it. The longer strap gives you the option of whether you want to hold it across your body or justvat your shoulder. I would have preferred maybe a bit more padding on the longer strap, but that is trivial. I highly recommend this bag, on both personal and professional levels.I received this item at a discount for my honest opinion/review.
