Altogether about 30 pounds worth of equipment. I purchased the other lid front runner sells so I have more space. I never used the one that came with it but the fit is fine. These boxes aren't cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. The plastic is thick, durable and both lids form a tight seal. I left a separate 5 star review for the other lid, it's VERY snug which isn't a bad thing, but requires a little extra force on top to close.

**Q: Are there any dry type wolf pack pro alternatives out there? i know this is somewhere between harbor freight and zarges but still spendy?**
A: There are many other brands out that are similar, however cheaper ones are not as quality, and the others are too expensive

**Q: Are the latches metal or plastic and is there a way to lock the box?**
A: The latches are plastic. At this time the box is not lockable unless installed with our Wolfpack Pro Mounting brackets on a roof rack.
