One of the only means to remove large SMD electrolytic capacitors but note that requires two irons simultaneously. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for SMD *by A***R on July 30, 2016* This tip. This tip is the best tip I've ever used. It's a very multipurposed tip making it a great selection for lots of surface-mount work and some through-hole stuff. It's phenomenal for drag soldering and it doesn't fall short when dealing with large anchor pads because you can just angle it so the fatter, wider side of the tip is against the pad for better heat transfer. The smaller conical end of the tip can be used for individual soldering of pins as well, albeit not as finely as an actual microsoldering pencil. If you want to do any kind of SMD rework, this tip is a must. It will make your life a lot easier, and in my opinion it is better than the conical tips because you can angle this in many different ways for better heat transfer based on what you're trying to do.
