The actual cable is nice & thick while remaining still flexible enough to bend while installing but just be aware that it is Thick & it's not ultra pliable... So if you require something ultra liable then this isn't for you. The plugs on both ends are again built to a very high standard of quality with excellent strain relief in place too. The performance of both 20 Metre runs I used was top notch & didn't drop 1 kb/s of speed compared to a 1Metre CAT8 similar cable that I used for testing purposes. I have no negatives to say at all regards this excellent network cable.If you're like me & you needed a long run of CAT8 cable & demand quality & speed then you can't go wrong with this choice. I fully & highly recommend this companies network cables since I now own a few of their models of cables & this model especially as it'll last you years & years with no worries once installed ;)Do yourself a favour & buy this versus some cheaper stuff that's bound to be junk ;) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent but with flaws. *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 20 October 2020* The cable is thick and sturdy enough. I tested it on the Xbox one and found the upload speed to be faster than my old cable and with a latency of 20ms. However, when trying to take the cable back out after my tests, I found that it was incredibly difficult to reach the little push button to slide it out. It took me ages to do and I barely managed to keep my Xbox's ethernet port in one piece. Just a word of warning to those buying this for a console. They have sturdy looking connectors although the locking tabs don't seem any sturdier than other types.Speeds seem good connected from my 2.5GbE motherboard via a 2.5GbE Switch to my 2.5GbE NAS. It's only a tad slower than writing to an internal drive, and quicker than copying to a USB3 connected driveThey are good value for what they are, but CAT8 cable is still a lot more expensive than Cat5/6. I'm not going to rush to re-cable my whole house, especially as there are so few devices at the moment which support these speeds.
