I have it on tile so it is easy to slide even when full I like this chest, works well. **Q: why does my compressor light goes off and on** A: Go to page 8 of your freezer manual. There it explains possible reasons for why the compressor light turns on and off periodically: the room temperature is hotter than normal; too much food is loaded in the freezer; the top door is being opened too often; the top door is not completely closed ( make sure the tray is not obstructing a good seal); there isn’t sufficient clearance on all sides of the unit; and the freezer has been disconnected for a period of time (4 hours are required for the freezer to be fully operative again). I am pleased with my unit. **Q: Is this item shipped from China?** A: No. Mine was shipped from Riverside California using TERRIBLE FEDEX Service. **Q: how does the drain work?How do u absorb the water? oh** A: My drain is located near the bottom on the outside. It easily unscrews. I have not needed to defrost yet but since mine is in the garage on a raised area I plan to move it to the edge and place a shallow pan under it. I can’t imagine that there will be a large volume of water but if this is your concern you could first absorb the majority of the water with a towel. I am very pleased with my freezer. Wish I had bought one years ago.
