Product Description Sashco 13013-2 13013 5oz Sealants Clear Lexel Adhesive Caulk, 5-Ounce From the Manufacturer Lexel is a co-polymer rubber-based sealant. It has excellent adhesion to a wide variety of materials, even after seven days of water immersion. Although it's tougher and resists tearing, Lexel is a soft rubber. This allows it to stretch and compress with joint movement. Lexel should not be used in areas of continuous submersion (i.e., aquariums or swimming pools). Do not use Lexel in areas where temperatures exceed 200 Degrees F. Lexel may damage some plastics, such as polystyrene foam insulation. Plastics not listed should be tested for Lexel compatibility before general application.

**Q: If used to seal threaded connection in pool pipe, how long should you wait before turning the pump back on?**
A: Lexel would adhere to the pipe, but does not handle hydrostatic (water) pressure terribly well.  If you choose to use it, we would recommend allowing a full cure (7-10 days) with good air circulation prior to turning the pump back on. A: This is a non silicone caulk...there is no mention of silicone on the product itself.

**Q: Will it dry completely clear on CLEAR glass-to-glass application?**
A: My wood-to-glass-to-plastic application dried crystal clear in the tiny places that it shows at all. I can't imagine why it wouldn't dry clear glass-to-glass. Don't forget to ventilate. If you can use it outside, so much the better. The fumes are strong, but dissipate fairly quickly, and after a time, are not detectable at all. Really great stuff.

**Q: Approximately how long of a 1/4” bead will the 5 oz tube lay ?**
A: A 5oz squeeze tube of Lexel will caulk about 13 linear feet at 1/4" thickness.

Better than liquid nails. works on wood, metal, concrete, easy cleanup with wd40 when wet. Does not dry n crack.stays slight flexible but does not pull apart or Pull off.
