You just use the main platform and a regular sandwich; a plastic piece, the embossing folder with the paper inside, and another plastic piece should do it. It should run through easier than with a die cut. If you have a different platform you have to adjust your thickness and see what works. **Q: Can you use this with a spellbinder machine ?** A: yes **Q: Does it work with the spellbinders grand calibur?** A: I've never used a Spellbinders grand calibur, however, I have a Sizzix Texture Boutique and it works. Just be careful of your sandwich. It gives a good emboss, yet it is not 3d. **Q: Will this folder work in a Gemini machine?** A: this folder is a regular embossing folder and should work in almost all machines..
