Papel couché de buen grosor y tipografía de tamaño grande bien legible. Cientos de fotos, pero la mayoría pequeñas, apenas unas decenas grandes, pero en realidad todas de muy buena calidad y definición. El libro está dividido en 8 partes: _ Una pequeña introducción con una práctica línea temporal. _ En los dos primeros trata la vida de Mohammad y la historia del islam _ En el tercer capítulo repasa las creencias más importantes _ En los dos siguientes trata la vida de los musulmanes y los ritos _ En el capítulo seis explica aspectos morales, éticos y legales _ Y por último hace un intento de explicar la división del mundo islámico y menciona varias corrientes derivadas de la práctica religiosa en la vida política y la guerra. El libro está organizado en diferentes temas tratados en dos páginas de forma estanca, para la consulta didáctica de determinados aspectos, al estilo de varias guías actuales que intentan condensar las materias por partes separadas.
