We bought these to use as bow and stern strap points for our 2 10ft kayaks that we strap to a 18 Subaru Outback. The straps work great and once I figured out the best place to put them it takes 2 seconds to install/uninstall them.I do wish they were maybe an inch or so longer only due to our trunk door being a thicc boi so only about an 1 - 1 1/2 inch piece sticks out but is totally usable.

like the title says, these are just as good as big name brands. I know because I have them for other boats. I have a number of kayaks and canoes... they work well on both a small car and a larger suv.
