Works Beautifully with An Arturia Keylab II
After purchasing a problematic EX-P by M-Audio which was returning ghost values and altering my presets on the fly without warning (quite troublesome), Arturia confirmed the pedal was defective by the ghost MIDI CC notes that were being captured. Amazon was kind enough to accept the return. I shopped around for several days inquiring about specs. Arturia stated the ohms should fall between 10-25. I wrote Roland / Boss they replied with: "The EV-30 uses a 2x separate 10 kΩ potentiometer for expression pedal control. You should be able to operate the EXP IN on your external device if it is compatible with an expression pedal rated for 10-25 kΩ. " Though more expensive, you get what you pay for. Built like a brick. This ultimately solved the issues and couldn't be happier. An excellent durable pedal. Images attached.

Best Expression Pedal for Boss Pedals
It's a Boss pedal, so it works perfectly on other Boss pedals. I have mine running to an SY-1 and a PS-5. I can modulate them at the same time to create some amazing sounds. I love this thing. I will say that the range of motion on this is a little bit longer than I was expecting, but that's definitely not a bad thing. I'm still getting used to it. If you plan to use your own patch cables to plug this into your other pedals, be sure you pick up stereo cables! This will not work with standard, mono patch cables.

This is the one to get.
This is the one to get if you are one of those keyboardists that realize that the plastic equivalent from Roland and other competitive manufacturers are horribly made. This unit is extremely well-made, and provides a very good experience with smooth expression values.

Does what it should and built to last
Works with everything and built like a tank. I can run it to multiple pedals. As it has 2 outputs. I use two of them to control 4 different units not all of them boss.

Good budget volume sub for Fender Tonemaster Pro
Works well as a volume or expression pedal with my Fender Tone Master Pro (TMP). If you have a TMP & are looking for a volume pedal, this will absolutely work. The only caveats (hence the 4 starts instead of 5), should these affect your buying decision, are as follows, but overall, good bang for my buck … The Included TRS cable is not very robust. No surprise. That’s very common. I’ll replace it with something sturdier, but it's okay for now. Most of the effect is in the last ~25% of travel and cannot be adjusted. Took some time getting used to for swells, but I’m good with it. Adjusting the taper in the TMP expression pedal settings was the key for me. The color is more of a blue-gray & clashes pretty badly with the TMP's chassis, as it will with most black and ___ multi fx units, if that's a concern for you. There's nothing 'grippy' about the pedal top other than the staggered form of the foot surface, and my foot has slipped off of it only a couple times while wearing slick-soled shoes, so some sort of anti-slip tape might be in order. Any aftermarket or 3rd party vol pedal will work as a volume pedal with TMP as long as it's TRS. Despite the above caveats, this one is a solid choice and beats paying 2x more for the M Audio version with Fender branding. NOTE: I cannot speak to expression pedal functionality. I was only interested in - and only use it as - a volume pedal.

Great Build Quality
This expression pedal is awesome. I've had it for well over a year now. The build quality is excellent. Opens a lot of possibilities with the BOSS 100 MKII.

Fun but takes some time and patience.
Loving the ability to control two different effects pedals at the same time. Only challenge was configuration. Due to my current config of running my Line 6 M5 on my line in to my amp and then all my digital and reverb on the effects loop, this Boss Ev just stopped working. So note to those wanting to do the same, you’ll have to ensure both effect pedals are either on the direct line in or both on the effects loop from the amp to work.
