I attached this to the underside of my desk, then realized I couldn’t open the top drawer due to the beveled frame. Unfortunately, when I went to try and take it off… it took a chunk of my desk off with it. So yeah, the adhesion is good - in my case, TOO good. It took my entire body weight (about 130 lb) to pry this thing off, but the shelves didn’t actually break in the midst of all the struggle so there’s that. But yeah, there are basically no second chances when it comes to mounting this thing. We tried the adhesive hold and left it on for 24 hours without anything attached. Soon as I put some items in the drawers if fell off within a few hours.
