I searched for the right price and features. Most important to me was a temperature gauge (hard to find!) since my car doesn't have one from the factory. I like knowing when icy conditions are upon me. This was a great price & fairly easy to install, if you've ever connected a car stereo. The old mirror was super-easy to pull out (after watching a 58 second youtube video), and this one slid right on easy. I ran the cables through the headliner, around the windshield pillar and up underneath the dash back to the radio (where I knew I could tap into 12v ACC power.) The hardest thing was running the temp sensor to the front of the car. I didn't want to drill in to the firewall, so I ran it through the door to the engine compartment, and zip-tied it along the way. Sync'ing the GPS for direction specification was easy. The mirror works great with an auto-dim (I commute early-morning). I haven't used the back-up camera feature yet, it was just a bonus for me, and I'll look for a cheap one. The only problem is that the green light to the right of the "power" button on the bottom is kinda bright for night. I think I'll get used to it. Mounted my camera on my canopy and can see objects very well in the LCD. I really like the temp feature that is added safety and peace of mind. It is nice to know when the temps are at freezing and extra caution needs to be used on the roads. One last thing camera systems are not a replacement for your mirrors!
