It is very well made and the type of double stitching will make it last. It is a tight fit around the handle strap for the Gerber Strongarm, but a tight fit is way better than a loose fit. The way the sheath is designed, it does not contact the sharp knife edge when placed inside. The side carry feature works well for walking; not so sure about how it will work sitting in a car, but plan to give it a try.
