Review: This footrest is very heavy-duty and well made. It came fully assembled. I like the non-slip material on the top. I agree with some other comments that it would stick to socks and be too rough for bare feet. But, I considered this when I bought it, and as I wear slippers or flip-flops around the house, it is not a problem for me. The sides are like rockers, but they have a slightly flattened bottom. I guess that would help if you choose to stand on it. I use it for a foot stool only.
