The larger ANT-500 antenna is often paired with the HackRF, but I have grown to prefer this smaller ANT-700. They are both antennas designed to cover large areas of the RF spectrum whilst maintaining decent quality rx. For my radios, I find the ANT-700 to be much more portable and I find the tradeoff in performance acceptable. I haven't had any physical issues with the ANT-700 and it has withstood fairly heavy use. These are nice little antennas with SMA connectors that can be used with other devices like the 'Yardstick One'. I will be buying more of these.

Works great
I didn't realize it from the picture, but this is actually about half the length of an ANT500 antenna when closed.

For $34 it should be better than it is
The antenna is fixed, how it screws on is how it has to stay you can't twist it to have the antenna line up with anything. This is a significant problem for both the ANT500 and ANT700. If my Yardstick one is plugged into a usb port they provide a torsional force to the device since you can't adjust them to have the antenna straight up and down. If you mount it to a laptop I hop you like not being able to line up the antenna to your mounting position.

Poor Performance
It's an overprice name brand item. Buy this for the form-factor (small collapse, good for travel) and expected manufacture tolerance (I have 1, can't speak to) not for signal quality. In terms of performance it is not better than $5 antennas for fixed position usage.

Subpar
Antenna does not rotate contrary to description. Manufacturing tolerances are subpar. Screw has no effect on antenna and it flops around.

This antenna supposedly is a telescopic antenna it extends the total of 4 in tall nothing to write home about how great it is in fact for the money I would not even recommend it
