Today that product , nor any other of it's ilk is not the same since they removed the good stuff to be environmentaly safe. Have tried numerous of the current brands and have waited the 24 hr removal times they say is necessary. And you still have to re-coat to complete the job. But along came this product which I decided to try and I was amazed at it's ability to remove the varnish on our dining room table that I am now refinishing. You can brush on this clear liguid solvent or use a brush or spreader that comes with the unit. I spread on the liquid and waited 3 hrs and lifted the varnish down to the wood. Cleaned up with mineral spirits & steel wool . Stained it and top coated with tongue (Tung) oil. Beautiful Review: BEST PRODUCT EVER - I refinish furniture as a hobby. This is the best brand I have come across. It works fabulous. I have tried other brands and this one is hands down the most effective. Time saving and potent.
