It's a freeze dried fruit, and so it isn't fresh off the tree perfect and can't be considered to be. The rating is based on the level of expectation for a freeze dried product and for what it is, is what can be expected: imperfect but still good. First: it takes time to reconstitute for a more peach-like texture which for this product has a firmness to it, but if not allowed to soak up enough water or if there isn't enough water the texture will be a little "off". Personally, I like it and have bought a bunch of these for camping and to have on hand.

When they are fresh and crispy, this is an excellent snack, so tasty.. But all to often they are soft and stale, like they've been on the shelf for way to long. Maybe 3 out of 10 are crunchy and fresh. the other 7 get thrown in the trash., for the price they charge id expect better.

This is great, I love that it's freeze dried and NOT crispy. For someone with not great teeth who loves the flavor of things like jerky but can't actually eat it, this is a great alternative.

Exactly what I was wanting! Great taste too!

Problem #1; there are only 6 servings included in this box. Where are the remaining 18? Each pouch is 1 serving (see picture). Problem #2; They state “up to a 3 year shelf life”. My box is best by 9/2026, less than 2 years. Problem #3; Despite the moisture absorbers in the pouch, The bananas are chewy and stale. They taste awful! Either their freeze dried process is bad, or their packaging is bad. Imagine had I waited for an emergency to try these. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality. These are bursting with flavor. They are crisp and not limp or squishy. Very healthy and a good additive for any everyday carry bag. I am very pleased and will buy these again and again and again. And I was not given anything for this opinion. The kids eat them as well for a healthy after school snack.

Convenient great tasting snack will purchase more.

Smooshy. Not freeze dried and crispy. No thanks! Wasted my money. If you like smooshy though, the flavor was fine.
