I have never seen Bleeders use in this type of application. And I never taken any personal per-cautions, when changing such capacitors out and have never been bit. If your concerned about being bit, completely disconnect the circuitry from its power source, and use an insulated screw driver to shunt the capacitor. There is always the possibility of an associated circuit problem , rather than a Capacitor Problem, that could leave behind some sort of charge. In which case you could draw a good arc with a screwdriver. All specifications match the original capacitor. Ran for three hours and exploded. A defective unit. Returned for refund. Hope the explosion didn’t do any damage to the other control box components.
