SVR SUN SECURE Extreme SPF50+ Face Sunscreen, Dry-Touch Matte Gel 50ml

This has been an absolute revelation for me. I'm a 42 year-old man and, since noticing melasma and sun damage on my face, I've been militant about ensuring that I wear at least SPF 50 whenever I'm out in daylight. I get shiny and quite oily quickly and have been looking for a truly matte solution for some time. I've tried all of the other popular oil control options, e.g. Eucerin, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, etc. but to no avail, and I always ended up looking shiny quite quickly if not immediately. Enter this. A grape-size amount is all that's needed and it goes on and spreads so easily. It doesn't feel at all heavy and it's truly matte! Even by midday in the heat on a recent holiday in Sydney, it still felt fresh and non-cloying. Yes, I wish it were a bit cheaper, but this is now a staple in my skincare regime and I will never stop using it unless something comparable at a cheaper price point comes along... As others have mentioned, only negative is the fragrance. No negative reactions to it, but it's quite strong, smells a bit granny potpourri and sticks around for too long...No idea why they've included this, but it's a mild annoyance and a minor con in relation to the predominant pros this product offers. I hope they never discontinue or reformulate this!

Great gel consistency that melts on the face. A little goes a long way! Matte and dry after application. Doesn’t have any of those dangerous chemicals like most other brands and no white cast, which is a massive plus! Only issue I have is it has a fragrance and would have liked a fragrance free option.

I’m very happy with purchase. The product is very effective

Love this brand. This is a replacement buy. I know its a bit pricey but it goes a long way. It goes on without irritation and I font burn in the sun

Got it for my partner as they hate oily sunscreens and it was love at first use. It feels weird but leaves a nice matte effect on the face. Will buy again. Deals should be offered to repetitive buyers

Lovely product. I’ve been using it for years. Sits well on the skin and it’s not greasy and shiny like some SPF. Also, I have sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate me in anyway. Would highly recommend this products.

Smooth application, nice smell, and without the bad stuff in it.

Nice transparent gel, soft on the skin

Very happy with that product, easy to wash off, doesn't get stuck in my pores, nice Matt finishing

The cream is quite nice, it leaves a very smooth feeling on the skin and the smell is also enjoyable. It doesn’t feel like sunscreen at all. The consistency of the cream is a little wired.
