We own a home popping machine that we keep in our media room and this is by far the best popcorn I've made in it, not to mention way easier than buying and measuring out each individual ingredient. Each individual portion pack contains oil, salt and kernels. Depending on how you store(heat, humidity, etc) it you will see some unpoped kernels and some will just be ejected from the popper but that's normal unless you use them in a larger kettle than the kit is designed for. the 4oz packs yield a pretty good amount of popcorn, I usually pop 2 at a time on movie night and compliment it with Superkist 2 NT buttery topping.
