It's fills a part of my needs that was a little difficult with normal pots. As a note, I had read some reviews on copper pots that some had trouble with the bottom having the burn marks on the copper. IF you find that may I suggest you look at your gas burner flame. These pots do not take as my of a flame to heat something that other pots do. My point is, keep the flame inside the exposed part of the bottom of the pot so it does not heat the copper on the bottom or it will leave those burn marks. Adjust the flame. Two, do not take the pot directly from the stove, while hot, to the sink and put in water. That will damage the copper plating. It is just small things that will give you years of service if done correctly.
