I've had a lifetime of bike accidents and arthritis to deal with. it's kind of like doing my own traction, without going to the chiropractor's office, I need that little firm stretch.I try to get in a meditative state and gently lay down using it for a little bit. I try to do lying down side stretches to warm up.I also like using it for my thigh and knee muscles, (kind of like the thigh master).
