I use the Natural Planet oils in this way. Though i do add a few drops of water to assist the evaporation process. They are fab oils & you'll enjoy their fragrance. **Q: Is this product food grade please?** A: I've been asking for legal allergen and SDS documents from this company for a while now and my messages keep being ignored. We are having to return our oils as we can't risk burning them around our children and I certainly wouldn't advise you use them in food unfortunately. **Q: Can you use this oil on scalp?** A: Yes. BUT !!!! it must be diluted with a carrier oil - I find Olive or Caster Oil to be best for hair.
