I cannot pick them up and move them as they are heavy, unweldy and kind of nasty if they are older. Lastly, they are EXPENSIVE. About 20 years ago I bought my first air mattress and have never gone back to regular mattresses. I have a regular bed frame that I add a scrap piece of wood (and old blanket over it) for the air mattress to sit on. The old air mattress I had had for about 4 years and apparently developed a leak. It was a 10" and I wanted just a little higher mattress, so got this one. It's 12" tall and PERFECT height for me to get onto and off of (with the height of the bed frame included). Easy, peasy to inflate with the internal pump! This is my first one with a USB cable - most of them have had regular 3-prong cords - so it's kind of nice with a small power pack that had a USB port, plugged this mattress' cable in, turned on the power pack, turned the dial on the mattress and 5 minutes later, I have a new, firm mattress to sleep on! For the price - I mean, $34 for this air mattress that allows me to sleep as good as on a $600 mattress? Get REAL!!! Plus, want to change your room around? Open the one plug, bleed out all the air in this mattress, roll it up and you can move it out of the way while re-arranging your room, then just blow it up again - very easy to move either blown up or without air in it.
