Normally I get eaten up but if I apply this like I’m taking a shower in it, they just fly around me and I don’t get bitten. You also have to reapply it VERY frequently. This might be a pain to have to do, and doesn’t work generally as well as DEET, but sometimes I just don’t want to deal with how oily DEET is. This spray actually smells great (like peppermint) so a liberal dose of it doesn’t bother me. Another issue I have with it is if you’re in a hot a humid environment, the glue adhesive that they use to attach the label melts and the label slides off. Then when you go to grab the bottle, you suddenly have sticky adhesive all over your hands. The last issue is that the spray nozzle get stuck a lot. So to summarize, Pros: it smells great, and works if you apply VERY liberally and often.
