I wanted a stand to hold my iPad at a better angle for drawing, lettering, and when using my iPad as a second screen for my laptop. I am very happy with this purchase. This is an excellent stand for any medium sized tablet (I bought it to accompany my MoveInk 11) and it's got good grip where the tablet sits and on the stand. The packaging was also very nice and the stand itself if lightweight and feels durable. The mechanism moves smoothly and it all folds down into a decent size for transport in a backpack or whatever.
